VCSE Alliance Volunteer of the Month ... December

Congratulations Susan, volunteer at Underground Lights - you are the VCSE Alliance Coventry Volunteer of the Month
Well done Susan at Underground Lights.

Susan is one of the wonderful volunteers at Underground Lights, a charity which uses theatre and creativity as a medium for engagement and positive interaction and recovery for adults with experience of homelessness, and / or mental health distress, and social disadvantage. Susan volunteers in the drama group and helps members have a positive creative experience, by encouraging them, giving valuable feedback, leading games, and helping newer members settle into the group. She also organises a creative table where members can arrive early and engage in some gentle art activities. For this Susan has taken the initiative planning and leading activities and attending prepared. Feedback has been really positive and Underground Lights wouldn't be able to do this without Susan's support. She is reliable, welcoming and is a much valued volunteer. The team wanted to say a big thank you to Susan for all that she does and she is our Volunteer of the Month for December.
