VAC Funding Fair & AGM Event 2014

At Voluntary Action Coventry

This event will provide an opportunity for a range of local and national funders to showcase their programmes and answer any queries from potential applicants. Please see attached flyer .

Coventry 4 Good Launched 

The launch of Coventry 4 Good took place at 4 Bull Yard, Coventry City Centre 14th July 2014 and saw the Lord Mayor, Councillor Hazel Noonan officially declare Coventry to be a 4 Good city - the only one in the Midlands.

Coventry 4 Good has been developed as a recognisable brand to promote the work of local voluntary and community groups and to encourage local people and businesses to help them.

Voluntary Action Coventry is a local infrastructure organisation that supports the voluntary and community sector in the city. Founded in 1957, it is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Membership of Voluntary Action Coventry is open to all voluntary and community groups within the City.

We offer a range of services & activities that support the vibrant & diverse Third sector in Coventry. We seek new projects and participate in initiatives that compliment & enhance the achievement of our core aims & that meet the needs of our members.

Membership of Voluntary Action Coventry is free.

Mission Statement

Voluntary Action Coventry is an advocate for voluntary and community groups, helping to develop effective and diverse communities in the City. Through the provision of support, training and information, we promote good practice and encourage social inclusion. We promote, facilitate and develop volunteering in Coventry and recognise the contribution of individuals and volunteers to communities.
