Coventry voluntary sector leads the way in tackling health inequalities
The Department of Health & Social Care has recently announced a new Office of Health and Equalities to combat the inequalities in health and wellbeing outcomes for people living in the most deprived areas in England. This new policy focuses on preventing health problems before they develop.

Coventry VCSE Health Inequalities Network – a Coventry City Council initiative
Coventry City Council are inviting organisations to join the newly established Coventry VCSE Health Inequalities Network. The Network is part of their system-wide Call to Action to tackling health inequalities in the City and has been initiated by the Health and Wellbeing Board and the Marmot Partnership Group.
