VAC’s response to Covid-19
VAC are following Government/NHS guidelines and in order to protect our clients, staff and volunteers have suspended all face to face and group based activity. We are exploring ways of working remotely in order to continue some of our support services. We are currently taking email requests and will try to respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible.
2 NEW Courses with Your Future, Your Integration
Your Future Your Integration, A project to integrate refugees into the wider community of Coventry, through Voluntary Action Coventry, Foleshill Women’s Training and Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre are running two exciting courses, Skills for Volunteering and Employment and How to….manage refugees as volunteers, starting in October.
Chat Central July News
We’ve had some great times together over the last few months and slowly conditions are easing for many people. We are not safe to go back to indoor get together activities yet and so we still have a full on-line programme. We are hoping to have some small scale outdoor walks/coffees in July (let me know if you’ re interested as these will still be in small groups so won’ t be widely advertised). We are also hoping to have a slightly larger scale get together at the end of the month – but this is dependent on both good weather and continuing lowering of Covid-19 risk so do check before turning up (see below).
