FINAL ARTWORK WITH SO NUMBER

Have you ever considered becoming a trustee?

Charity trustees are dedicated volunteers who join forces to guide and inspire their organisations. They carry the responsibility of making decisions that shape a charity’s impact and future. Trustees come from a range of backgrounds and bring a wealth of experiences – you don’t have to be in paid work for example, nor is their a ‘set age’.

According to newly published research from the Charity Commission and Pro Bono Economics eight out of ten trustees are likely to recommend the role to others. The survey found that over half of young trustees said trusteeship supported their career development, while older trustees said it gave them the opportunity to give back. They also found that more females are on trustee boards as compared to previous year, with representation increasing from 36% in 2017 to 43% today.

A trustee role can unite your passions, talent and experience and let you make a difference to a cause you care about.
