Here’s a selection of volunteer roles and opportunities currently available on Get Involved Coventry – many of which are newly listed roles!

Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre is here to welcome all refugees, asylum seekers and migrants to help people rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential. Do you care about tackling health inequalities and removing barriers to health access – then the  Health Champion role could be for you. Help people navigate NHS services and receive training across a broad range of health-related topics. 

The Salvation Army supports families, children, trafficked victims, older and homeless people. How do you fancy getting involved with supporting them in their mission? They have four volunteer role vacancies which might be of interest. The Friday morning toddler group are seeking a  Team Member  to help create a warm, safe, fun and nurturing environment where pre-school children and their parents or carers can belong, interact and feel supported. Or how about the Volunteer Barista role – if you could offer friendly conversation, a warm welcome whilst supporting the smooth running of the coffee hub then this could be an ideal role for you. Alternatively there are a couple of roles seeking technical expertise – do you have the skills required? If you have experience in sound desk and mixing, could you spare a few hours for this role Volunteer Sound Desk Operator  to help create high-quality sound output at for the church services? If you have experience in story telling through words, images or video could you be a volunteer content creator?

The Myton Hospices  believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life, focusing on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. The charity has lots of opportunities for people to volunteer at their shops across the city, on the till. They are also seeking a school engagement volunteer to inspire the next generation.
