A call for change on the eve of the election

As we head to the polling stations for the election, this is a vital read from NAVCA (National association for Voluntary and Community Action). The document, ‘The Power of Local Infrastructure’ is a call for change – it sets out what a local infrastructure can offer to a new government, and what needs to change in government policy for more effective partnership working.

‘Policy changes … will allow the voluntary sector to focus on building thriving communities rather than filling gaps left by the state.’
