Pride in Coventry was the motto of the morning – as an enthusiastic crew assembled on the steps of NatWest for a litter pick organised by Coventry BID in conjunction with the bank, including our very own Chat Central participants. The enterprise brought together volunteers from across business and the voluntary sector for a Spring Clean litter pick. It was amazing to see how much can be achieved by donating just an hour or two of time and effort around a shared value.
Voluntary Action Coventry is here to help connect individuals and organisations who want to help out and lend a hand, to contribute to the Coventry we all want to see. Offering services to support people with a range of needs, as a charity our aims include matching people with causes they feel passionate about. VAC also provides the city’s online community engagement platform, Get Involved Coventry (www.getinvolvedcoventry.org.uk) where hundreds of volunteering roles are listed for individuals and organisations to browse live volunteering roles.
