It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of two wonderful Chat Central members, John and Roy.

John passed away shortly before Christmas and had been a wonderful volunteer with us.  He shared his love and passion for music through a series of song writing workshops.  He supported participants to write lyrics, sing vocals and then brought all the contributions together in one song.  John also shared his talents by leading Christmas sing-a-longs and was a warm, supportive friend to many. 

Roy died in January after a short illness.  Roy really threw himself into everything Chat Central had to offer and was such a joyful character, always curious and keen to get involved.  Wherever we went, Roy would know somebody and it wouldn’t be long before he was talking about his beloved Sky Blues, with friends old and new.

Both John and Roy brought such joy to our Chat Central group and were inspiring examples of community spirit.  They will be sadly missed, and our thoughts go out to their friends and families.
