Bank Holiday Monday is just around the corner (30.08.26), which means our Volunteering Drop-In Advice session at Central Library is closed. But if you’re thinking about giving back to your community, the bank holiday is a good time to explore what’s out there from the comfort of your home! The holiday could be a great time to pause, take stock and think about how you could make a difference in your community.
Volunteering is a powerful way to meet new people, build confidence, learn new skills, and give something back. Whether you have a few hours to spare or you’re looking for something more regular, there are so many opportunities waiting to be discovered.
Search for volunteer roles online!
If you’re thinking about getting more involved here in Coventry, a great place to start is by doing a little research online. Did you know you can search hundreds of live volunteering roles through our community engagement platform, Get Involved Coventry? Take a look and see what inspires you.
Access face to face support
And if you’d like a bit of guidance, we’re here to help. Why not come and have a chat with us at one of our Drop-In Advice sessions? Our next session is Tuesday 1 September. Drop-in Volunteering Advice is every Monday and Tuesday throughout the year (except Bank holidays). Running from 10am until 2pm, you can come and talk to our friendly team for help, support and guidance in accessing volunteering roles across Coventry’s community organisations. No need to book, but find out more here.
Your time could make a real difference—why not take that first step today?
