Salary: £30,848 (pro rata)
Post 1 – 37 hour Practitioner
A number of sessional hours are also available each week (evening work)
Contract: 18 months fixed term (possibly extended)
Job share may be considered. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the project as a Programme Facilitator. You will deliver a Respect Accredited structured programme-based intervention and offer motivational and domestic abuse educational programmes to support behaviour change for perpetrators of domestic abuse. The role consists of delivering group and 1:1 intervention, assessing, attending case and risk management, and working alongside the specialist women’s services who will provide support to victims. We are looking for individuals who can work empathetically and within strict professional boundaries and are committed to building strong relationships with a wide range of professional agencies. You will have substantial experience of working with individuals and families who have experienced domestic abuse; and be able to demonstrate your understanding of the impact domestic abuse can have on the lives of those who experience it. You will have demonstrable experience of carrying out risk assessments and a good working knowledge of safeguarding and the range of statutory and voluntary agencies responding to the needs of those at risk from domestic abuse. We would also welcome male applicants to this role to support delivery of the programme and reflect equality of relationships. Training and supervision will be provided to deliver the Choose 2 Change programme. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday please note some evening work will be required.
