Volunteer Centre
Volunteer Centre Coventry promotes and develops opportunities for all
people in Coventry to make a free choice to give their time and effort for the benefit of the wider community. We work in partnership with local not for profit organisations, offering them support, training and advice to ensure good practice.
As a member of Volunteering England we achieved their new Quality Standard Award in January 2007. So you can be sure the information you receive from us is of good quality.
All our services are free to volunteers and voluntary organisations in Coventry. We have information on over 500 voluntary placements in Coventry. We can advise you on things like travel expenses, training, wheelchair access and insurance.
- One of our advisors will be able to offer you one-to-one confidential assistance with making your choices and answer any questions you might have.
- You can get information on the opportunities available either by visitng our website, emailing or telephoning us or by dropping into our office during opening hours (Tuesday-Saturday 9.30am-4.30pm).
- We give you the details of the volunteer opportunities that you want; you then contact the organisation/s and follow it up yourself.
Volunteer Centre Coventry does not take up references or recommendations. We are there to provide you with information and support.
