Quality Assurance

A Quality Assurance System (QAS) refers to a formal management system which can be used to strengthen an organisation. It is intended to raise standards of work and make sure everything is done consistently. A QAS sets out expectations that a quality organisation should meet.

There are a number of QAS available, however some systems are more relevant to the Voluntary and Community Sector; they have been devised for VCO's and genuinely support effective performance.

They are therefore useful as a tool to develop and improve your organisation and service delivery.

There are some excellent resources available in our Resource Bank for your information.
