Welcome to the Quality and Governance page of the VAC website.

VAC is the lead body for the Coventry and Warwickshire Infrastructure Consortium (CWIC) Quality and Governance Project. This is funded by Capacity Builders until March 2011.

The project will create a step change in the quality and accessibility of services to front line Voluntary and Community (VCS) groups in Coventry and Warwickshire.

VAC is responsible for overseeing activities in Warwickshire and delivering activities in Coventry.

In Coventry the following support options in the areas of quality and governance are available: -

• Training on specific topics requested by groups
• One to one meetings with managers/trustee and committee members
• Follow on training ‘surgery' sessions
• Facilitated peer support
• PQASSO implementation (Practical Quality Assurance System for Small Organisations) and other recognised quality assurance system (QAS) implement
