Quality
This space will be used to provide information and guidance on Quality Assurance Systems (QAS).
The Quality and Governance project supports Voluntary and Community Organisations (VCOs) to implement QAS. A QAS refers to a formal management system which can be used to strengthen an organisation. It is intended to raise standards of work and make sure everything is done consistently.
A quality assurance system sets out expectations that a quality organisation should meet
There are a number of QAS available however some systems are more relevant to the VCO; they have been devised for VCO and genuinely support effective performance.
They are therefore useful as a tool to develop and improve your organisation and service delivery.
In Coventry, under the remit of the Quality and Governance Project, we are directly supporting implementation of PQASSOTM and VISIBLE TM. Support will be provided in the form of one to one group mentoring, facilitated peer support and training. If you would like more information on this support please contact the project coordinator Kate Harris on k.harris@vacoventry.org.uk.
