The Community Learning Champions' Support Programme helps volunteers promote learning in their homes, workplaces and communities. It provides training and development opportunities for Community Learning Champions, has set up regional networks and a website for exchanging good practice and has also created a branding and badging scheme to raise the profile of Community Learning Champions across the country.

Phase 2 of the Development Fund is now open and offers up to £25,000.

Funding is only available to organisations operating in the eligible local authority districts in England.  These are defined as super output areas falling within the 10% most deprived nationally on the Education, Skills and Training domain of the Indices of Multiple Deprivation 2007.

Applications may be made by public, private and voluntary and third sector organisations working in partnerships.
