Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action are recruiting for a Children and Young People Lead and a Volunteer Co-ordinator.

Children and Young People Lead
37 hours per week worked flexibly
NJC Scale SO1 point 29 - 31 (currently £25,440 - £27,123)
Permanent, subject to funding

Warwickshire CAVA are seeking a Children and Young People Lead to support the development of new and existing voluntary and community groups working with children, young people and families across Warwickshire. The post holder will promote good safeguarding practice and help increase access to volunteering for young people.

The successful candidate must have experience of working with children or young people, or with organisations that do and experience of partnership working. Knowledge of good safeguarding practice and an understanding of issues relating to families, children and young people are essential for this role.

Flexibility to undertake work out of normal office hours and ability to travel throughout the county to attend meetings and events are essential.

Volunteering Coordinator – Stratford-on-Avon District

Warwickshire CAVA are seeking a Volunteering Coordinator to facilitate the promotion and development of volunteering within the Stratford-on-Avon District. The successful candidate must have experience of volunteer management, working with people with support needs and knowledge of volunteering best practice.

Excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team are essential for this role.

Flexibility to undertake occasional work out of normal office hours and ability to travel to attend meetings and events are essential.
