The current economic climate and changes resulting from the introduction of the Work Programme have highlighted the importance of the role played by JobCentre Plus in supporting Coventry people to find and sustain employment.

This session is designed to help providers of employment advice, training and support services understand the range of approaches JobCentre Plus are employing to help people find the right employment opportunity.

The session is an opportunity to meet with Gaynor Smith and Marian Needham the Relationship Managers who cover Coventry and to hear directly from them about:

• The priorities for JobCentre Plus as a service and how they have restructured to meet the challenges of the new environment
• The services JobCentre Plus are seeking to commission from the sector
• How you can work with Jobcentre Plus and what criteria sector providers need to be able to satisfy in order to be considered as a potential supplier
