Practical workshop activity: groups will review and reflect upon their trustee recruitment policies to consider how appealing and accessible they are for young people who may be interested in a leadership role. Groups will need to bring along their existing Trustee recruitment policies. Young volunteers interested in leadership roles will attend from lunchtime onwards and support groups to identify an action plan for improvement; this support can continue for a time limited period afterwards to enable the group to get their trustee recruitment polices ‘age diverse'

This event will be of interest to any group that is keen to  get more young people interested in governance and will be of particular interest to groups who are delivering services to children and young people.
