By the end of the workshop participants should be able to:

 understand their legal responsibilities in relation to their role and organisation

 describe some practical measures to take in their role to ensure the health and safety of the children and young people with whom they work

 know how to complete a risk assessment

 identify areas of further information/support they need in relation to health and safety
