Innovation and Development Fund: Round 2 Priorities
The Fund is open to all voluntary and community organisations that are delivering projects that improve health in Coventry. Organisations unsuccessful in Round 1 can reapply - however, please don't re-submit the same (or a very similar) Expression of Interest.
In Round 1 the level of innovation in many applications was relatively low. It is therefore highly recommended that you speak to the relevant commissioners for your area of work to find out what is likely to be considered an innovative idea before submitting an expression of interest. If any signposting within the PCT is required please contact Penny Wilkin.
Many of the Round 1 projects being invited to submit full applications relate to Goal 1 of the Health Strategy, improving health and reducing inequalities. We will therefore particularly welcome Expressions of Interest that closely relate to goals 2, 3 and 4 addressing the specific details set out within the Health Strategy.
We would like to encourage a wider spread of applications for Round 2 and will therefore not be looking for Expressions of Interest that relate to smoking cessation and infant mortality.
For Round 2 we will also particularly welcome projects that involve partnership working including joint working across sectors such as working collaboratively with the PCT, GP surgeries or a private sector organisation, as examples of this in Round 1 were relatively few.
