Health & Social Care

*** The 2009-10 directory is now available ***

The Health & Social Care Project is funded by Coventry's Teaching Primary Care Trust. The aim of the project is to promote voluntary sector involvement in planning and consultation and to enhance the partnership working between the voluntary and statutory sectors in the field of health and social care.

Harjeet Matharu, Health & Social Care Networking Officer, builds partnership working between the voluntary sector and the health and social care statutory sector including Community Services, the Primary Care Trust and the NHS Hospital Trust. She also edits the health and social care newsletter Partnership Informer, runs the Health and Social Care Forum and supports partnership mechanisms such as partnership boards.

The Health & Social Care Forum
gives voluntary and community groups the opportunity to meet and engage with Council, PCT and NHS decision-makers as well as providing briefings and discussion opportunities. View the up and coming seminars and forums downloading the leaflet.

Health & Social Care Directory
The Health and Social Care directory was produced in 2006. The previous directory was interpreted widely, but did not include organisations primarily concerned with education, employment/unemployment, training or direct services to children. This updated Directory contains the details of 135 Providers. Please inform Harjeet Matharu if your particular group is not included, but would like to be next time. All information is registered under the Data Protection Act. Click here to view the 2008-09 directory.

Please call Harjeet Matharu on 024 7622 0381 or email h.matharu@vacoventry.org.uk for further information or download the project leaflet opposite.
