The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), with support from a firm of solicitors called Bates, Wells and Braithwaite (BWB) have recently launched a new online reference and decision-making tool for charities, social enterprises and cooperative organisation called ‘Get Legal' http://www.getlegal.org.uk/

The resource is described as providing clear information and guidance to organisations and their advisors on the ‘most appropriate legal form and governance structure for delivering their goals'. It does however recognise that this tool shouldn't be regarded as the sole source of support but it is certainly a useful resource on this topic.
