Do you know your EPS from your FJF?  Do you know how to access free recruitment services?

If you answered no, not sure or maybe then this event is for you!

This seminar is aimed at ensuring voluntary and community organisations know about the latest employment initiatives and don't miss out on the range of free (or very low cost) opportunities that are available.

The event will feature a series of updates on the programmes/initiatives followed by facilitated discussion sessions offering you a chance to ask questions and explore your ideas with the programme leads.

Update 1:  Employment Placement Scheme (EPS)/Future Jobs Fund (FJF)

Two work placement schemes aimed at placing unemployed people into work placements-both schemes offer (funded) opportunities for creating posts/projects that you can't currently deliver within existing resources.

Update 2: Recruitment Network

Find out about the role and purpose of the local recruitment network, how you can become a member and what services/support you could get.

Update 3:  The Hub

What can the West Midlands Partnership Regional Public Health and Social Care Hub do for you?  Hear about this new partnership and the free services it provides.

Update 4:  Volunteer placements

Volunteer Centre Coventry is working with Job Centre Plus to provide unemployed people an insight into volunteering and the potential careers available within the Sector-find out how you could benefit from the skills of these volunteers.

To register your interest in attending please contact Marian McGowan on 024 7622 0381 or email m.mcgowan@vacoventry.org.uk by 19th February 2010.
