Disabled patients raise concerns over discharge process

The Physical and Sensory Impairment Partnership Board (PSIPB) carried out a survey on the experiences of patients early this year. The objective of this survey was to enable patients' real life experiences and perspectives to inform the development and review of services for people with physical or sensory impairments admitted to hospital.

The interviewers were all people who had extensive experience as members of patient and user groups and were drawn from the Physical & Sensory Impairment Partnership Board, the Older People's Partnership Board and Coventry's Local Involvement Network (LINk).
