Communications
Would you like to contact VAC members to advise them of events, jobs vacancies, training courses or just promote your services?
Well you can!
There are three ways to do this:
1. Joint mailing
2. Direct mailing
3. E-bulletin
Joint mailing
Inclusion in the monthly postal mailings is only open to VAC members.
The cost of the mailing will depend on the number of members wishing to partake in the mailing. The total cost will be divided equally between all parties. Therefore, the more members wishing to take part will reduce the overall cost. Extra postage may be charged for items weighing more than 30 grams.
Please contact VAC on 024 7622 0381 for details on the next mailing date.
Direct mailing
This option is open to any group or organisation regardless of whether they are a member of VAC, but VAC members do get reduced charges.
The charges for this service are as follows:
| Service | Members | Non-members |
| Collating charge | 10p per letter | 15p per letter |
| Postage 1st class | Letter 39p Large letter from 55p* |
Letter 39p Large letter from 55p* |
| Postage 2nd class |
Letter 28p |
Letter 28p Large letter from 44p* |
| Labels | 1p per label | 2p per label |
| Envelopes | 1p per envelope | 2p per envelope |
| Photocopying | from 5p per sheet | from 7p per sheet |
*depending on weight
Send one copy of your insert to info@vacoventry.org.uk for approval purposes. Once approved VAC will advise you how many inserts are needed. At least two working days notice is required to undertake a direct mailing.
E-bulletin
The monthly e-bulletin is distributed to all member groups with a current email address, Coventry City Council, Coventry PCT and other external organisations. Inclusion in the monthly e-bulletin is free yet we would recommend a postal mailout as well as not all of our members have an email address.
If you would like to participate in any of these options please call VAC on 024 7622 0381 or email info@vacoventry.org.uk
VAC reserves the right to refuse to distribute any materials which we feel may bring VAC into disrepute.
