Community Cashback is a new scheme which gives local people a say in how £4m of recovered criminal assets should be spent in their communities. You can suggest a project you would like to see happening in your area or have your say on a project suggested by someone else in your community.
BT Community Connections
BT Community Connections is an award scheme which enables community and charitable organisations to get online. Groups can apply for a laptop and a year's free broadband connection. Award packages will be given to groups who can demonstrate how an award will benefit their work and the local community. Deadline 5 January.

NHS Coventry Require Providers Urgently for the Provision of Stop Smoking Services Programme
NHS Coventry is part of a consortium of West Midlands Primary Care Trusts who are promoting stop smoking services and stop smoking in Pregnancy Services. Stop smoking services are time-limited to support people who smoke to stop smoking successfully and permanently.

The Peace Walk is being organised by Coventry Multi-Faith Forum taking place on Saturday 7th November 2009 from Priory Gardens, Priory Row at 10.00 am.
After the reading of Peace Prayers, there will be visits to The Chapel of Unity (Coventry Cathedral), Zeenat ul Islam Mosque, Hindu Temple Society, A Spiritualist Church and GNP Gurdwara, where we enjoy a communal meal.
The Britannia Foundation
The foundation offers grants and donations of between £1,000 and £25,000 to registered charities and schools working within education, particularly numeracy and/or financial literacy. Support focuses on local communities where there are higher densities of Britannia employees and customers.
