All suggested amendments & additions will be considered by the Compact Steering Group in September and will link into wider Compact discussions and development with the Compact Strategic Group later in the autumn. The outcome from the last Compact Strategic Group in June, co-chaired by Steve Banbury & Martin Reeves, was that Compact is important but how it evolves in the coming year needs to be based on gritty realism.

VAC has supported four organisations recently to get issues with their funders resolved using Compact and it has been used a lot in the debate around sharing risk and managing change - we would appreciate any other examples please.

The Coventry Compact awards were well supported and showed the positives from getting working relationships on the right footing - we'll be publishing these as case studies in the autumn.
