Mission Statement

Voluntary Action Coventry is an advocate for voluntary and community groups, helping to develop effective and diverse communities in the City. Through the provision of support, training and information, we promote good practice and encourage social inclusion.

We promote, facilitate and develop volunteering in Coventry and recognise the contribution of individuals and volunteers to communities.

  Engaging and enabling Voluntary and Community Sector involvement in strategic decision making

  To understand and meet the support needs of Voluntary and Community Organisations in Coventry, ensuring that they are able to meet the needs of the most vulnerable

  Champion and demonstrate the contribution of volunteering to civil society in Coventry

  Enabling the Voluntary and Community Sector to develop new approaches to service delivery

  To develop the profile and capacity of Voluntary Action Coventry

  To develop and support a range of projects that compliment the core work of Voluntary Action Coventry

Voluntary Action Coventry aims to set clear standards and to regularly review and improve performances. Voluntary Action Coventry's resources will be used effectively and efficiently in order to provide the highest standard of service to all stakeholders.

Voluntary Action Coventry will openly provide clear information about its services, which will be easily accessible to everyone who needs them. All enquiries and complaints will be dealt with in a prompt manner. Users of Voluntary Action Coventry will be consulted with and their views will be used to continually improve the service provided.
